I was supposed to bring 3 years worth of Tax, brought 4 ( just because), but was not asked a thing! My guess is that it varies per officer and per case, as they already have the tax documents that you sent when you applied. But to be on the safe side, I would bring everything that's on that checklist. Paranoid that I am, I had in my car my whole immigration file and more proof than one could possibly want to see, so in case I met any difficult situation, I'd have been able to just run out to my car and bring any applicable document :)

I am assuming that you filed under 3 year rule ...?

IMO, under 3 years rule, applicant relies on USC spouse to naturalize so he/she needs them to show whichever joints are. 5 years rule totally depends on applicant him/herself.

Can someone explaine what the difference is in needing to bring Tax Returns to the interview when filing under the 3-year rule vs filing under the 5-year rule?

02-20-2015 = N-400 packet sent (to P.O. Box ARIZONA via USPS Priority Mail)
02-23-2015 = N-400 packet delivered
02-23-2015 = Priority Date (as per I-797C received on 02-27-2015)
02-25-2015 = e-Notification received about the delivery.
02-27-2015 = Received the NOA I-797C by mail. (Priority date of 02-23-2015)
03-14-2015 = Bio metrics Letter received (Bio set for 03-24-2015)
03-16-2015 = Bio metrics Done (Walk-in)
04-02-2015 = In line for interview
05-05-2015 = Interview scheduled
00-00-0000 = Interview Date
00-00-0000 = Oath letter received
00-00-0000 = Oath Ceremony !

The same here, the only text/email I got when my case was received. Nothing later!

The same here, the only text/email I got when my case was received. Nothing later!

Who knows,i guess their emails and text messaging system is not reliable.so long as I get the actual letter,then that's fine.

Congrats realaltamarea.I hope I get my notice quick too.

Hi Guys,

My interview is 6/4 and I have purchased a ticket to travel out of the country on 6/26. I am now wondering if there will be a problem. I doubt my Oath Ceremony will be before then but would it be an issue to travel with a Green Card if you already had a citizenship interview ? Any help or if any one can see I would potentially have a problem please let me know. Thank you!
