Sorry to hear about your experieces! I hope everything will work out in the best possible way. It is soo frustrating not knowing what is going on.

I have been patiently waiting "in-line" for about 5 weeks as well without any information.

Today I checked my status for the first time this week and finally got a message that my interview has been scheduled on April 13. Now I am just waiting for the letter in the mail.

I have been checking the online status diligently every day since my In-line notice, except for this week, and that is of course when the status change.

Another thing that I notice when I look at the table of the February filers is that nobody seems to have gotten the yellow letter. Quite a few of the January filers have gotten the yellow letter, but none in February I wonder if that is something they are not sending out anymore.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Congratulations on getting the status moved. I am assuming once you complete (3rd or5th years) anniversary, then they put you in line for interview. Not sure if it is true but just by looking at most cases, I am assuming.

I was not passed my 5 year anniversary when I was put in-line. However, now I have passed that date and I don't know if they waited for that or not before they scheduled my interview.

I have read that the interview could be scheduled before your anniversary date, though. As long as the Oath ceremony is after the anniversary.

Got text and email, online status checked: interview was scheduled today, waiting for the interview letter for the actual date

AOS Journey

1/31/16 - Got married

2/24/16 - AOS, EAD, AP packet sent

2/29/16 - Received Date

3/03/16 - Received text and email notification

3/04/16 - Check cashed

3/07/16 - I-797 hardcopy received

3/19/16 - Biometric scheduled received by mail

4/06/16 - I-485 online status changed to Ready to be Scheduled for Interview

4/15/16 - I-485 online status changed to INTERVIEW SCHEDULED

4/17/16 - Interview Notice hardcopy received

4/28/16 - AP & EAD approval date

5/02/16 - AP approval letter received

5/05/16 - EAD card received

5/17/16 - AOS interview

5/23/16 - Online status changed to CASE APPROVE dated 5/18/16

5/23/16 - Received AOS approval letter in the mail

5/23/16 - Online status changed to CARD WAS MAILED TO ME

5/24/16 - Card was picked-up by USPS (online status)

I was not passed my 5 year anniversary when I was put in-line. However, now I have passed that date and I don't know if they waited for that or not before they scheduled my interview.

I have read that the interview could be scheduled before your anniversary date, though. As long as the Oath ceremony is after the anniversary. [/quote

My anniversary won't be until May 7th, i guess they can interview before that but oath taking won't happen until you pass the anniversary date

Just have a question guys, when I'am reading my interview appointment it says there that i have to bring my childs birth certificate. So i have 2 child and 2 stepchild.Well when i filled up my N400 form i put 4 since i listed them all but the only birth certificate that i send is my childs BC. Now on my interview day do i have to bring my stepchildren's birth certificate too? please can anybody advice me about this thank you very much!
