Well, I think I know why there is a delay in my case. A second biometrics appointment notice arrived today.......

Aww I'm sorry I know it's not the news you wanted to hear but at least your heard something now maybe they didn't do the first one correctly what date did you get maybe you can try walk in???

just got an email stating that On April 13, 2015 we scheduled an interview for your Form N400. Ill post the date of my interview once i get the letter on the mail guys. Thank you.

I have a quick question for you guys:

I am one of those who did not realize I had to disclose my traffic tickets ( misread the whole thing and though I should only disclose them if the fine was more than $500). Long story short, the speeding tickets I had were in 2008, and 2009 and another one I think in 2005 or 2006. The one in 2008/09 were in a different state. However I have maintained the same driver license number/state since I got to the US in 2003 ( Missouri driver license). the tickets from 08/09 were dismissed via a lawyer and I can't find the information anymore. ( Still looking, can't find it yet).

I am planning on mentioning this during my interview, but I was trying to get proof of payment and dismissal. So I went to the DMV to get a driving record, that way I could get at least the dates when I call the different courts to see if I could get any proof of payment/dismissal. My driving record came completely clean. Nothing shows up. Would the tickets that have been paid, and the ones dismissed would have shown? Was I supposed to ask for a different type of driving record? When I asked the lady at the DMV she just said no tickets are showing

After I left the DMV office I started wondering if she meant "pending tickets", as in tickets that have not been resolved yet. So I guess I am trying to ask if a tickets that have been resolved one way or another would have shown, or is there another way to get that information so that I can get the dates in order to call the courts

I have the exact same situation as yours. I received 4 tickets back in 2000, 2001 and then in 2006. None of the tickets are pending as I have paid them and took defensive driving classes. The only ticket information I could locate is from 2006. As I had other state's drivers license during 2000, 2001, I pulled up a DMV record which came as clean. I talked to the DMV rep and they mentioned that they do not keep any record after 7-8 years. I also contacted the local court but they do not have the record either as it has been long enough. Court mentioned that they destroy all the records after 9-10 years.

I did not mention anything on N400 because I have talked to several people and all of them advised not to mention it (as all tickets were under $490). Now I am planning to mention it at the time of Interview as I do not want to hide anything. I will take my 2006 ticket information and verbally tell them about earlier tickets. I just hope it will not delay the process.

Please keep me posted here if you find more information on it.

Congratulations. I am still waiting to get in line. My biometrics date was 03/04 and since then there is no change in status. I was hoping LA field office to be little faster than others but in my case, it is not true :))

i talked to 2 people who got there interview letters from same office, and i am still hanging in limbo. i did my bio on 2/25 since then no news at all. i think my case is the same as yours. but i haven't got any re-bio letter.

Never had a ticket or problem in my application, single, no kids and very simple and straight forward case but still...

Get on my nerves when people apply after you , get interview letter before you in same office.

well let the wait game going on, it will end one day.

Same situation as both of you... I can't get a record of my old tickets and I haven't kept receipts from over 10 years ago... I had no idea that I would want to become a citizen back then. My driving record doesn't have the tickets on it because they are dropped after 7 years in Texas. I'll mention them on the N400 (best I can do is month and year) and I'll show a copy of my driving record. I hope that'll be enough, but I've read about cases where the interviewer insisted on a document from the municipal or local court in question stating that no record was found. I'll have to wait and see, but I'll definitely push the fact that the guides and instructions say that no proof has to be presented for minor infractions... if the interviewer insists, I'm willing to spend a few months escalating the issue, because I'm not going to run around Texas looking for 12 and 13 year old speeding tickets.

Hopefully we'll all end up with interviewers who are aware of the rules and won't ask for evidence... there are many such cases.

When did you send/ mail your package? What is the Resident Since date on your GC? Thanks.

i have been gc since 2006, i started to count in 2008 since i applied for student visa to study abroad.
