Did anyone sign up for an account using myUSCIS?

I did. I get both the text and email. Got the text earlier this morning telling me that my case has been updated and a minute later, i got the email. :dancing:

Awesome - I will sign up for an account. Before I didn't because it wouldn't let me put my address as it would only let you use a US address if you had US citizenship (which obviously I do not have). Looks like it has now changed to 'Country/Region' which I assume wouldn't refer to citizenship?

Out of curiosity, is the receipt number you get with the initial text/email that tells you they have accepted it, the number you will be using at all times to track?
I.E, my initial receipt number was NBC*xxxxxx.

Also, my NOA says " Upon receipt of all record checks, you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office."

What does it mean?

What does it mean?

You will receive a notice for biometrics shortly as part of the "record checks" and if everything checks out without any issues, USCIS will then proceed to schedule your interview!

I am told to get schedule for an interview is often when the wait gets a little longer depending on the cases ahead of you. I did look at the January filers, it took some folks nearly 55 days or less to get actually schedule for an interview. Hopefully ours wouldn't take that long. I cant wait to get this journey over with. For those who are gadget lovers, you can actually download an app from the android app store to check your case update. The app is called USCIS Case Notifier. Search it in the app, download, and enter your receipt number and save it. You can access your case on the go. I also downloaded another app called the US Citizenship Test 2015 Edition. This app talks to you like the CD we get after the biometric. So u can also study your questions while you are out jogging. I hope one of these apps makes someone life much easier. :idea:

4/28/16 - AP & EAD approval date

5/02/16 - AP approval letter received

5/05/16 - EAD card received

5/17/16 - AOS interview

5/23/16 - Online status changed to CASE APPROVE dated 5/18/16

5/23/16 - Received AOS approval letter in the mail

5/23/16 - Online status changed to CARD WAS MAILED TO ME

5/24/16 - Card was picked-up by USPS (online status)

5/26/16 - Green Card on Hand!!! :goofy:
