The uscis in dallas received my n400 on Feb 13th and until now I haven't received an appointment for fingerprints is that normal? How long does it usually take to get a fingerprint appointment after filing? Thank you

To give you some reference, and please understand that this isn't always the case, my application was received on the 5th February, and my biometrics notice was sent on the 12th February. Mine never arrived by mail, but I estimate that it would have arrived on the 16th or 17th February based on what other people were seeing.

If it worries you, you can always call USCIS and simply ask if you biometrics appointment has been scheduled yet - but remember that you are well within their time frame for biometrics appointment scheduling. Obviously USCIS is busy, so your call may take a while

By looking at the tracker, it does not look like any Feb filers got interview letter yet. I was just trying to estimate expected time frame after the biometrics.

Maybe within 2 weeks, fingers crossed ! ;)

But surprised no one has had a text message or email to say they are in line! Based on January's timeline, people were getting them 2-5 days after the biometrics

Thanks for the reply, that's what i thought, it shouldn't take so long, i think I'm gonna call them and ask them about it

Just checked my status on the USCIS website and as of today 03/05 I am in line for an interview! Yay! :)

(I have not got any e-mail/text notification about it, yet)

wow that was quick..

on my case, i don't know if this matter, but my 5th yr anniversary won't be until May, so I won't be surprise if I don't get anything until then..

AOS Journey

1/31/16 - Got married

2/24/16 - AOS, EAD, AP packet sent

2/29/16 - Received Date

3/03/16 - Received text and email notification

3/04/16 - Check cashed

3/07/16 - I-797 hardcopy received

3/19/16 - Biometric scheduled received by mail

4/06/16 - I-485 online status changed to Ready to be Scheduled for Interview

4/15/16 - I-485 online status changed to INTERVIEW SCHEDULED

4/17/16 - Interview Notice hardcopy received

4/28/16 - AP & EAD approval date

5/02/16 - AP approval letter received

5/05/16 - EAD card received

5/17/16 - AOS interview

5/23/16 - Online status changed to CASE APPROVE dated 5/18/16

5/23/16 - Received AOS approval letter in the mail

5/23/16 - Online status changed to CARD WAS MAILED TO ME

5/24/16 - Card was picked-up by USPS (online status)

5/26/16 - Green Card on Hand!!! :goofy:

The only relation to your five year anniversary is that you can't take the oath of citizenship before that day. There's no reason that you can't do everything else before your five year anniversary (although some offices have a policy of not interviewing before the anniversary, even though legally they could if they wanted to).

Can someone please guide me.

I was supposed to file in Feb., but I am late, so going to file this month.

Where can I find application and what are the supporting docs for 3 year citizenship rule?

Please also read the naturalization guide in detail so that you know what to expect and so that you can make sure that you're eligible to apply.
