Hi Guys I just checked the processing times!!! It looks they moved to November 2014.. That means that hopefully next month they will process December! I filed at the end of December so hopefully I will get an answer next month or the following month and also you guys will get answers, most of the people here are January fillers so I think this is a positive thing.. Or at least I hope so.

These are the stats I was referring to earlier. I simply track the approvals as reported in each forum. There has been a slowdown lately and I don't know if people aren't reporting to VJ forums or if USCIS is slower.

I definitely love your chart:)

I believe they are slowing down due to vacations, they will be slowing down even more within the next three weeks and after that hopefully they speed up again:)

This is taking too long, a few people who have applied in April, 2015 got their approval and we are still pending being in the Cali service Center :( I will probably have to travel with my expired green card + I-751 extension letter and Passport. Called USCIS and the guy on the phone told me 6 months is the current processing time for I-751, being said that don't expect your GC with in the time span. This is very frustrating.

02/19/2015 - NOA issued

03/17/2015 - Biometrics

08/24/2015 - New GC produced

09/04/2015 - 10 Year GC in HAND (199th DAY)

Naturalization N 400

03/07/2016 - N 400 package sent to USCIS Phoenix, AZ Lockbox via USPS

03/15/2016 - NOA issued

04/04/2016 - Biometrics

07/20/2016 - Interview for Naturalization

08/25/2016 - Oath Ceremony (I'm a CITIZEN of United States)

Hey Shounok,

I travelled out of the country 4 times already on the expired GC and the extension letter, it seriously is not a problem. The guys who check this when we return don't even bat an eyelid. It's all good. Enjoy your trip, but I agree, this is taking hellishly long, least you are not in Vermont center, ours haven't even started yet.

Thanks for your input, what happens when you board the flight, do customs bombard you with questions? I reckon you don't need any I551 or whatsoever stamp on your passport if you have an expired GC along with I-751 extn letter ? I read somewhere when you board flight from overseas you have to have at least 6 months validity on your extension letter, not sure if that statement is legit.

Hey,

no one ever bombarded me with questions. I never had any stamps, just my british passport, my expired GC and that letter. And I'm serious, I have literally been overseas 4 times on that alone, Africa, Europe and South America. When I returned they treated me as if I was just a regular permanent resident. How was my trip? Where did I go? That sort of thing, a couple of jokes, a few finger scans and a photo and I was through in 3 min tops! As long as you are legal, they don't really seem to care beyond that. I really am not sure about the 6 month validity on the extension letter, I don't see how that makes sense as long as you are in the US if it expires and you ask for a new one.

I just received my notice to say my green card has been approved, no interview. It says within 60 days I will receive my new card.

The date of decision was 8/3/15. If someone could update me on the list that would be great!
