Was just reading N-400 info. My wife got here March, 2012 and we were married April, 2012. So what I'm reading is next month she can apply for citizenship and we don't even have a biometrics appointment yet for removal of conditions. This just doesn't seem right. We're paying $590 for something that we really don't need if we apply for citizenship.

I'm pretty sure you have to be a permanent resident AND been married for 3 years to apply for citizenship, right now your wife is only a conditional resident, which is why you have to remove conditions first.

(Please correct me if I'm wrong, everybody :) )

I'm pretty sure you have to be a permanent resident AND been married for 3 years to apply for citizenship, right now your wife is only a conditional resident, which is why you have to remove conditions first.

(Please correct me if I'm wrong, everybody :) )
