As for an agreement this lopsided benefitting the USA, nothing could be further from the truth. Should the Iranian regime military gain the capability to field operational nuclear weapons, then the likelihood of them using them, either themselves, or by proxy, would likely advance the Doomsday Clock up a couple of minutes.

We don't know anything about what has been agreed or even discussed. All we have is a lot of conjecture and scare stories from people who are easily frightened into taking a position on the matter.

Right now, like them or not, Israel is the least dangerous, most predictable nation in the region.

Israel to Iran must seem very dangerous. Nuclear armed, with a history of invading and attacking its neighbors. Iran was attacked in the 1980s by Iraq, by the West's best friend at the time, none other than Saddam Hussein. Saudi also has let it be known that it would like to destroy Iran. So I can see its rationale for seeking to gain a nuclear advantage.

Their idea of peace is preventing their neighbours waging war against them. Regardless of their actions and conflict with the Palestinians, the majority of their Arab neighbours will not recognise, nor will they make peace with, the State of Israel.
