Thanks! I called USCIS yesterday and they told me the same thing. I just wanted to be sure that we didn't miss anything. Thanks for responding! :D

Hi!

Im a bit late joining in but heres my progress so far!

Im a Brit, came here to visit my husband for a long trip in December, then decided I didn't want to go home so we discovered we could apply for AOS. We rushed through the whole process of getting everything we needed, consulting an immigration lawyer who kindly helped us out with some questions we had for free, had my medical done and managed to get the paperwork sent off through USPS priority mail a week before my I-94 ran out, PHEW!

We filed: I-130 & I-485 & I-765 with all relevant evidence as far as we could tell!

Feb 18th - Sent off AOS application USPS Priority mail - Was supposed to take 2 days but was delayed an additional 6 days due to snow. Painful!

Feb 26th - USPS Tracking confirmed package received and signed for by USCIS

March 3rd - Noticed USPS had processed our cheques and sent us emails confirming they are processing our application and we will receive receipt numbers formally via mail shortly.

Still waiting!

I do have a question about one piece of evidence that we left out because it would have taken too long to get & the immigration lawyer said we didnt need it right away. It was the Police Clearance certificate. Did you all send that right away or did you leave it out too? We checked, checked and triple checked and he said it was fine so we're hoping it is!

Thanks guys!

Hello! :) I'm just checking on everyone and want to know what are you guys been up to? I realized there's a downtime moment after the biometrics appt and we are all waiting for the EAD and AP approval. In my timeline, it says "Based on timeline data, your AP may be adjudicated between April 8, 2015 and April 13, 2015*." I know this is only a guide and not super accurate but I'm excited 'coz it's like a month from now!! :)

Now it got me curious. Do you also plan to work as soon as you get your EADs? Would that mean that I should start applying online now? It feels like back to zero but we can't help it. :) I guess I should start signing up to all job portals and update my resume ASAP.

I did a major general cleaning of the house and it took me two weeks to finish. Now I'll have more time to spend online and will do productive stuff like look for job opportunities haha.

I still haven't received any mail, waiting on my biometrics appointment letter. I called USCIS again, and yet again they told me that they can't do anything for another week since it has not been 30 days yet. this is so frustrating:( I am basically just venting here, i apologize.
