Our Greencards arrived by USPS Priority mail today.

Kash 2011, hope you'll get yours soon.

Think it's standard for them to say u should receive within 2 months. We had that too. And our interview was on Oct 8th with welcome letter received a few days after. Also standard for them to have the right to request any additional info prior to u receiving the card

Congrats! I have my Citizenship interview scheduled early next month!

Finally after 8 months of waiting, received the text message this morning that I-485 interview is scheduled! (it's about time).

El Burro, my wife also from Ukraine. We followed the route of AOS from her Student Visa.

We finally got our interview and her Green Card after 9 months from filing.

Best to you, Leo

Well, my wife's AOS interview was scheduled for Monday, but I got a phone call today & they said it's been canceled. I was told on the phone that the case needs to be reviewed by a supervisor first and will be rescheduled (no time frame). A little disappointed as we hoped we'd be finished with USCIS for a while.

Congrats on your interview! It is nice to see that Denver office is not looking at February filers. Can you update your timeline, please, so other people have more hope seeing moving of the Denver office. Thank you in advance!

------

I-130 (as part of IR-5 process) - USCIS (Nebraska Service Center)

06/09/14 - sent I-130

06/14/14 - NOA 1

11/14/14 - NOA 2 (5 months)

AOS (Local Office: Denver)

03/24/15 - AOS packet sent via USPS Priority Mail (I-485, I-765 & I-131 w/ approved I-130)

03/26/15 - package delivered according to USPS website

04/01/15 - email notifying the AOS package has been received

04/02/15 - an AOS fee withdrawn from a bank account

04/09/15 - received hard copies of all three NOAs (NOAs dated 04/01/15)

04/28/15 - Biometrics

05/08/15 - online status changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"

05/18/15 - online status changed to I-765 approved-wait the card in the mail (no change for I-131) (80 days)

05/19/15 - received EAD/AP in the mail

05/28/15 - online status changed to "As of June 28, case is ready to be scheduled for an interview." This is the second time of such change since 05/08/15.

07/05/15 - online status changed to "As of July 5, case is ready to be scheduled for an interview." How many times are they going to update that status, I wonder?

12/18/15 - still waiting!!! For almost 9 months now (261 days from AOS NOA, 234 days from Biometrics).

01/14/16 - submitted "out-of-normal processing time" inquiry and called USCIS that stated the case is still at NBC and "inquiry" should answer why there is such delay.

01/15/16 - 294 days since the AOS was received by the USCIS; 262 days from the biometrics.

01/28/16 - [day 309] received response to case status inquiry (processed on 01/23/15) - "your case is waiting to be scheduled for interview," so wait another 90 days [sigh].

02/21/16 - [day 332] interview scheduled for 03/24/16 [363 days from the receipt of petition].

02/24/16 - [day 363] AOS interview. Approval on the spot.

Had my interview today and got approved .. wohooooo .. also I told the officer I was travelling internationally in the coming week so he stamped my passport with a temp I 551 .. was very nice of the officer.

Question: The officer mentioned something about conditional GC since I am married only for a year. Is there a separate process for a permanent GC or something ? do I have to do anything else ?

All of us who got GC through marriage is a conditional one....unless you are married for more than 2 years.....once you are close to 2 years of your conditional GC expiration preferably 90 days you can apply to remove for that condition and get a permanent GC. In your case if your conditional GC is good for a year...apply to remove that condition 90 days prior it is something that you must do in order to maintain your status.

02/06/2015.................forms i130, i485, i765, i131 mailed via FedEx
02/09/2015.................forms delivered
02/11/2015.................NOA1 for all forms
02/18/2015.................received I-797 mail with 13th feb as priority date
02/28/2015.................bio apt received for 03/05
03/05/2015.................got done with Biometrics
03/10/2015.................I-485 status updated to Ready for Interview Schedule
04/14/2015.................I-765 card being produced but no update to I-131

04/23/2015.................Got my EAD/AP combo in mail

06/19/2015.................Got the interview notice in mail. Interview scheduled for July 20th

07/20/2015.................Went for the interview. Didn't get approved right away but got the text and email later on in the day regarding updates to my case status, welcome notice being mailed and AOS approved

08/16/2015...............Email alert that Card was mailed to me it was Sunday evening.

08/18/2015...............I received my green card in mail exactly 4 weeks from the approval date

We had our interview yesterday morning. The officer was very pleasant and kept reassuring my wife that she was doing fine. I walked in with my wife and wife's interpreter and the officer right away said that the interview was only going to be about my wife as I had already been approved early on in the process. My wife and interpreter were given the oath and sat down. I was not given an oath and just sat in the back and watched. I was expecting relationship questions like how we met & that sort of stuff, but wife was just asked what my name was and when was my birthday and then switched right away to questions about jobs my wife had back home. The whole thing lasted about 30 minutes.

When the officer was finished my wife was told everything seems fine but because my wife's fingerprints were rejected twice for the FBI clearance we were given a RFE to get a police clearance from our local police department, which we've already done and mailed back in. Soooo.....I'm hopefully optimistic that my wife will be approved in a few days!
