My head knows there are a couple of us February filers left. But my heart feels like I've been left behind. So I'm curious who's still stuck in AOS limbo from February. And yes I realize that it's only been three months since most of us on the NPIW track got our notices. I'm working on my patience.

I just got my welcome notice and greencard today. Although, I don't know if I have to make this a big deal or not. You see, I changed my last name when we got married. It's a hyphenated surname. Now, my EAD card got my last name correct which is with the hyphen. To my surprise when I saw my greencard today, my last name did not have a hyphen. What should I do? Should I just let it go?

So how is everyone doing?? We just had our interview today at santa ana. Everything went well but in the end the interviewer said she could not approve us yet until she has reviewed/researched my medical report when we applied for the k1 visa (im one of the people who fell on the drug question trap by civil surgeons when I said yes i tried puffing marijuana once many years ago). She said if she approves us, the green will only be good for 2 years before we can apply for removal of conditions which are aware of.

Did you guys sign anything after the interview? We did not sign anything. She just said wait for the mail etc. she asked for supporting docs and my i94. She did not ask for my ead. My wife and I are so scared we dont want to be denied because of an experimentation many years ago.

Whoohoo!!

Had our interview this morning and we were basically greeted and invited to swear/affirm and sign the conditional greencard form.

Was a very pleasant encounter and the officer was kind enough to photocopy pages of our passports, Ead combo cards etc as needed to complete the file.

Our status changed to Our welcome letters have been mailed shortly after we drove out.

Thanks again to everyone for all the help and goodluck to those still waiting.

See y'all next 2 years minus 90 days

Hi guys,

My status says NEW CARD IS BEING PROCESSED. On October 15, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us.

Yesterday was my birthday but I will definitely still take this as a bday gift from up above. Thanks everyone and see you all again for the ROC!!!

Just a few hours after my last post, the status changed to WELCOME NOTICE WAS MAILED.

On October 15, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a welcome notice for receipt number MSCXXXXXXXXX. Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by December 14, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later.

Questions:

1. do we really have to wait until December 14, 2015 to get hold of the card or it always comes earlier than that?

2. What does ADIT stands for?

Our Greencards arrived by USPS Priority mail today.

Kash 2011, hope you'll get yours soon.

Think it's standard for them to say u should receive within 2 months. We had that too. And our interview was on Oct 8th with welcome letter received a few days after. Also standard for them to have the right to request any additional info prior to u receiving the card
