GREEN CARD is on hand today!! :joy: I can't believe this phase is finally over since we started our visa journey on March 2014. Thank you everyone for being our support all throughout!! Couldn't have done it without this forum. We saved tons of money by not hiring an immigration lawyer plus we gained a lot of virtual friends here.

Good luck to everyone who are still waiting!! I know all of you will be approved, I just hope that you'll get it sooner than later.

Thank you very much again!! Talk to you when we cross our paths again in 2017!!

OMGGGG Guys!!!! I just received this!!!

Welcome Notice Was Mailed

On September 8, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice for Receipt Number XXXXX

For those who received a potential waiver letter like me, please check your emails, you might receive the same good news!!!

Btw, it's my birthday today, this is the best birthday gift eveerrrrrr!!!!!

Congratulations!! I just checked status after months of leaving it be. :joy: We got that same update on Sept 15 of welcome letter but after it says:

"Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by November 14, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later." Did yours state that? I see yours arrived within the week not a month or 2 later. We have a trip planned for Nov for two weeks so Impraying we get it beforehand. Was your status ever card in production? Ive read about that but I dont kow if it was before this status or if we still have to wait for that....

Every step with this is agonizing... even the approval process is stressful... :clock:

We received an email on 8/15 that said card production had been ordered, that's how we new we were approved! Then we got the welcome notice email on 9/17 and it did say what yours said, but when we received it in the mail there was nothing additional with it. Then on 8/28 we had the card! :joy::joy::joy: Congrats on the approval! You should get your card very soon!

Oh wow! Congratulations too!! Here's the history of my status:

09/08/2015 We registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice.

09/10/2015 We mailed your new card to the address you gave us.

09/12/2015 Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

09/14/2015 the Post Office delivered your new card for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx to the address that you gave us.

There's an error in my sequence of events in my status.. Card production came after they have mailed it, haha!

Is that a typo? should be 9/17? Although if they did it backwards i woudlnt be surprised LOL OMG thank you so much I was like WTH is ADIT processing now !!! :{ I'll be checking the mailbox like a loon. And omg no email or text notice for us at all. I've been saying for the passed few weeks oh I should hope onto Visa Journey and see if any movement with fellow filers has been happenning but then I had a miscarriage and things were obviously a sad state for a bit. So this is an amazing bit of news. HOpefully we can go on our trip and my hubs can have his green card in hand and enter the country feeling like hes coming home. He's already adapted so beautifully even though he cant find a job LOL. But he will. Patience is a virtue....so they say. This process has given me grey hair and taught me I should have become an immigration attorney and charged boatloads of $$$ lol. Hugs to you guys and I wish you the best... NOW WHATS ROC?????

Our notification of receipt date is in NOV!!!!!! 2 months away but I'm hoping its just to desuade people from harassing them with WHERES MY CARD telephone calls. If they processed these quicker they would get less calls...lol Theres a thought. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Congrats to everyone who got good news with their status.

I have a question.I'm an early February filer from NYC and i got my potential interview waiver letter in June.

Yesterday(September 16),my status changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview"

Is this a regular step for all who gets waiver letter or that means i'm getting an interview for sure.

Anyone has an idea?

LOL yea that was a major typo! I meant 8/17. I was surprised to even get a notice bc when we got the waiver letter I was thinking yea we wont be hearing anything for while! Pleasantly surprised to be wrong. I'm sure you guys will get the card in like a week or so if not before. Sorry to hear about the struggles you and your hubby are having, hope everything works itself out! Wish you guys all the best as well! Thankfully when you get your card you can have a break from all this paperwork and stress! Oh and ROC????
