This is so weird but I actually got an interview letter in the mail today, interview set for August 25th. I think they're just backed up and you'll probably receive your letter soon.

You can try to call the 1-800 number and ask right away to speak to a tier 2 and they will be able to tell you if your case is ready to schedule an interview or if it has been scheduled, sometimes the website doesn't give you an update.

Good luck

Thanks Vink. Few recognize my hard work !! :-))

But it should be pointed out that Vink's progress does not fit in this sub-forum.

He is not AOS from K-1 as are others in this sub-forum.

Vink is AOS from Student, Work or Tourist visa which has a February subgroup here:

It looks like there's some approvals in the November (and even one in the December) groups that received waiver letters. I really hope that trend continues. We just started looking at community colleges today. They aren't requiring that my husband take the TOEFL which is a blessing and we don't have to provide them with an I-134 which is great. But he can't get any aid from them. So we either delay his starting until at least January or limit his credits to what we can pay for up front. And it's all because of the crazy slow processing for most of us.

K-1 from Haiti - NOA1: 5/27/2014; NOA2: 7/8 USCIS never updated to say that it was sent to the NVC (just in case you're as concerned about your status not updating as I was about mine)
NVC Case Number Received: 7/31; Left NVC: 8/1 - tracked via DHL website; CEAC Status - Ready: 8/7; Packet 3 Received: 9/5 - Beneficiary received packet / Medical Completed: 9/19;
DS-160 Submitted: 9/22 - (CEAC date updated); Packet 3 Submitted: 9/26; Packet 4 Received: 10/24; Interview Date: 11/6 @ 7 am Interview Result: Approved!
CEAC Status Issued: 11/10; USTraveldocs.com finally acknowledged Fiance's passport actually in their system: 11/20; Passport Received: 11/21;

POE: 11/23/2014; Wedding: 2/14/2015

AOS/EAD/AP Filed: 2/21/2015;

USCIS EAD & AP received: 2/25; USCIS AOS received: 2/27; Received NOA1s in mail: 3/5; Biometrics: 3/26; EAD/AP Card in Production: 5/11; EAD/AP Card Mailed: 5/1; EAD/AP Card Received 5/19; NPIW Letter dated: 6/11/15; Green card Approved: 10/1/15;

Green card Received: 10/7/15

Hi Feb filers...Just to update..

Finally got our final EAD combo card today.. Two days ahead of our intended out of country travel. Whew!!

Tried applying for SSN for K2 but was told they have to await clearance from DHS, also tried removing restriction from mine and was told same thing. Advised that this takes 3-4 weeks.

Tried getting local Id's but only one K2 was cleared and myself (K1) still awaiting DHS clearance..Seems strange.

So apparently I might have to wait a month to get local Id, open joint account ( they require state ID) etc.

Drivers licence written exam can be taken with EAD card, Marriage cert and passport but the physical test has to be done 30 days after successfully passing the written test.

This is so frustrating, but the bright side we get to go back to our home country for like a month..so maybe when we get back all will be o.k.

Also, we were successfully able to reschedule our interview and have already gotten approval letter that our request has been granted and we would hear from them again with a new date within 90 days.. We are at the Fort Smith Office and thank God they seem to be moving rather quickly as we were scheduled for interview and within 4 days we had an interview date. Unfortunately/Fortunately for us we already booked flights and would return the day after the interview...LOL USCIS....

So thanks again for everyone who has helped on our journey so far, good luck to all of us and congrats to those that are progressing and adjusting well to their new life.
