So my time line said possible adjudication for my EAD May 1st through May 4th until this morning when it changed to May 2nd through May 5th. Yeah I know there's a weekend in there and that it's close but I think the closer an approval gets the harder it is to wait or accept delays. Does anyone else feel the same?

Panssey... the amount of time it takes to update the site probably depends on the location where you had your interview. Since they aren't coming from a central location you'd want to message other people from your local geographical area to see if your local office is slow on these things. I wouldn't worry too much about it. In fact, I'd bet that the next update will say something about your Green Card being printed (and that might be centralized). Congrats on finishing the interview!

Hey guys, just a quick question, for those that already received their EAD and already took their SSN. Did you guys receive your SSN number at the time that you applied or just when you received the card?

I applied and received my SSN card even before getting my EAD approved. Hope this helps!

Hey PauPau,

How did you get your SSN without your EAD? I read that they need an American document.

My question was more about the number it self, because I read at some website that I can receive your number at the time that you apply for the SSN and then they mail the card to you. So I was wondering if this is true.

Hi icampos,

I hold a K1 visa and as soon as I got here, I printed the online I-94. When I went to the SSA office, they only asked for that and my passport with the K1 visa in it.

With regard to the number, they didn't give it to me that day, I received it in the mail in about a week. Hmmm, I'm not sure if what you read is true but perhaps you can check with the officer when you apply?

Ohhh I see, so I must wait for my EAD :) hopefully it will arrive this week. For sure, I'll question the officer about the number but probably he'll tell me to wait :) many thanks for your help though.

Icampos, quick question. Which area of LA are you in? I was viewing processing times earlier for San Bernardino and LA and according the site they are still processing applications from back in June 2014 and August 2014. Either you're lucky or they just haven't updated their websites in a while! :) Good luck on your journey! :)
