Hi Veeveean,

Would be very curious to know when you get your AOS interview date as I am also nearest to the Santa Ana office. Feel very discouraged by the fact they are working on cases from July 2014. Just in a waiting game now as we did the fingerprints a month ago but no update. The weird thing is the USCIS website case status says there should be an update by April 26 which has passed already. Called the 1800 number and two agents said it is just a "guideline" and not really a update is guaranteed.. :(

Yes I called too and told me they were working on cases from July 2014 ? it could take up to 7 months. My case online at one point it said I should receive an update by May 22 unless an interview was necessary, then it changed to ready to be scheduled for an interview which has not changed since April 3rd. I will keep you updated.

When did you file?

Hello all, just an update from me. AP was approved today and EAD says card ordered to production? I'm guessing this means approved?!

Thanks so much!

Icampos, quick question. Was your status for the i485 updated online with your interview date? Or did you just receive the letter? I'm in Los Angeles too so hopefully not too far behind you!

wow you got the updated status regarding ready for interview? at least you got that far! Wonder why mine is stuck with the old update saying April 26 unless fingerprinting/interview needed. Maybe because we did the fingerprinting in late March (we needed to get a marriage cert for additional ID which set us back 3 weeks from the original fingerprinting date in early March).

I will apply AP for now. My wife is anxious to see her family back home. ;/

Quick question, my I-485 hasn't updated since my original NOA1, is that normal? I know it may take awhile and I'm okay with that, I just want to make sure I didn't miss anything.

GinaYCarlos,

Mine changed to Interview Ready to be scheduled about a week after biometrics and i've heard nothing since. I wouldn't be too concerned, i've read through these threads and some people had no update what so ever until the interview letter came through. But you could always call the service centre and ask for peace of mind.

I wish you luck with it :)

I believe that the interview date is really determined by your local USCIS branch. Like in my case, St. Paul normally takes 175+ days from application filed to interview. There are other offices, like you've noticed on here, that take 90 days or less. So you probably haven't missed anything when it comes to updates about the interview.

K-1 from Haiti - NOA1: 5/27/2014; NOA2: 7/8 USCIS never updated to say that it was sent to the NVC (just in case you're as concerned about your status not updating as I was about mine)
NVC Case Number Received: 7/31; Left NVC: 8/1 - tracked via DHL website; CEAC Status - Ready: 8/7; Packet 3 Received: 9/5 - Beneficiary received packet / Medical Completed: 9/19;
DS-160 Submitted: 9/22 - (CEAC date updated); Packet 3 Submitted: 9/26; Packet 4 Received: 10/24; Interview Date: 11/6 @ 7 am Interview Result: Approved!
CEAC Status Issued: 11/10; USTraveldocs.com finally acknowledged Fiance's passport actually in their system: 11/20; Passport Received: 11/21;

POE: 11/23/2014; Wedding: 2/14/2015

AOS/EAD/AP Filed: 2/21/2015;

USCIS EAD & AP received: 2/25; USCIS AOS received: 2/27; Received NOA1s in mail: 3/5; Biometrics: 3/26; EAD/AP Card in Production: 5/11; EAD/AP Card Mailed: 5/1; EAD/AP Card Received 5/19; NPIW Letter dated: 6/11/15; Green card Approved: 10/1/15;

Green card Received: 10/7/15

Thank you! I'll continue to be patient, just wanted to make sure I didn't need to follow up on something I missed.
