My Status Changed today to Card was Mailed!!!!!! :)

Im just worried because since march 20 my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview we'll send you a notice and has been a month and I didn't receive any letter... Anyone else with the same thing??

Why are you worried? There's people that haven't even received that kind of status changes so I think you are on the right path

My case statued changed to "I 765 has been approved". Problem is I haven't even done my biometrics! This is so messed up! I'm gonna call them today and see what is happening... Is anybody in the same boat?

Received my card today evening. Strange they changed the status to card shipped today morning and the card was delivered in the evening. But anyways I am happy, the card is valid for one year from the date of approval. It is a combo card and also has a statement that is serves as my advance parole document (combo card)

Congrats! They shipped my card yesterday so hopefully I receive it within the week!

Our status on I-485 changed today to, "ready to be scheduled for an interview".

We filed feb 18th

Signed for feb 25th

NOA emails March 3rd

NOAs rec in post March 11th

Biometrics letter rec in post March 13th (apt scheduled for 26th March)

RFE re affidavit of support - info not originally requested so not an error on our part.

Biometrics carried out March 26th.

Sent RFE info March 30th

RFE info signed for April 4th and status updates to rec'd and processing to continue.

Status changed to, "ready to schedule interview", April 21st.

Great news! Although, I have a question! Has anyone else had theirs go in this order? I've had no update on my work permit since my biometrics on math 26th but my interview for AOS is ready to be scheduled......! Should I be expecting a loooooooong wait for my interview letter? Any ideas!

Thanks in advance!

It looks like it's something common, i already have an interview day in 9 days but no work permit yet, but not sure if you are gonna have to wait for long before they gave you a date. Mine changed straight from case received to interview on April 30th

Ohhhh Yayyy that's great, even more reasons to celebrate tomorrow after your interview

Congrats everyone who got good news! I'm guessing most of you are filing under K-1 visa or IR-5 (parents of a US citizen). Is there anyone here who filed under IR-1 (concurrent filing of I-130 and I-485 while in the US) and already got your updates? I'm under the impression that it takes longer to process IR-1 based applications. I'd greatly appreciate your answers. Thanks!

I'm glad it's not just me, then! At least now I know it's not just a mistake! Fingers crossed I wont have a huge wait for my interview date!

I think it might be a myth about certain types taking longer. Ultimately we all filed the same forms and they just go through the system. The only thing I can see being quicker is if you have already been in America for a long time then they may be more likely to waive interviews or if you've previously had a visa here then it may be quicker.

Personally, I came here on ESTA with the visa waiver program fully intending to leave but my circumstances changed and we decided to file AOS instead. I assumed that for me the process would take a very long time but it seems to be running fairly quickly and in line with most everyone else's timelines!
