I'm sorry about the RFE letter. We are expecting one as well. However, there is nothing you can do until you receive the letter. Even if you talk to somebody on the USCIS Helpline, they won't be able to tell you.

I might be wrong, but I don't think RFE should delay getting a work permit, but i'm not sure ...

It's funny you should reply right now as we literally just got off the phone to uscis. You're right! They don't have access to that information. She said it's only the 1-485 part of my app that is suspended until they receive the information and to still go ahead and attend the biometrics apt on Thursday so I doubt we'll be delayed too much unless the evidence they are asking for is something complicated! Although we really can't think what it might be as the affidavit of support is the most common thing people get asked for evidence for and so far our I-130 hasn't had an RFE.... Our pack was complete according to the lawyer so it either must be that they need another photocopy of something or they don't like my photos and need new ones or something! We have no idea what it could be! We'll just keep checking the mail I guess!!

My status changed yesterday. Does this mean, the documentation provided is fine and I cannot get an RFE anymore?

"As of March 25, 2015, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC159XXXXXXX, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice"

I am at NBC as well. Haven't received the interview letter.yet. I hope to get my EAD soon as i have a job offer.
