how often are visas denied

hi. i was wondering...how often do they deny visas? are they approved most of the time if all the papers are in order and there is no suspicion of fraud? is it hard for the embassy to deny it?

I'd have to say a huge percentage are approved, but I think it varies from embassy to embassy also.

If your paperwork is in order and the relationship is real I wouldn't worry about it.

It is true that it varies from country to country and what level of visa fraud the consulate sees OR whomever seems to be working at the consulate at that time. I would go to the regional forum for the country you are applying for and ask in there. You might get a better idea.

I believe the embassy has the option to deny any visa they feel is suspicious. In some embassies this is a very high percentage while others it is quite low. Embassies like Manila is considered a fraud embassy and more petitions are either denied or put on AR.
