Is "nonimmigrant" an option?

Good luck on your immigration journey.

NO. There is not. There is IR1.

I called and they said that when we made the interview appt. that it was registered. It does show it on the appt. confirmation page.

I am just concerned becuase the interviewer is the one that handed my fiance this paper with the instruction for IV address registration. It says to print out the transaction confirmation. I can do all the steps the paper says, they just don't have the K1 Visa class listed.

Maybe with K1 visa since we did the appt. through ustraveldocs.com it is atomatically registered. Then they should say that and not confuse people.

Thanks!

Any thoughts to ease my mind would be helpful...otherwise I will just wait a week and see if his passport is ready or call again for clarification

I believe we did cr1 .. Whatever is the one that is for spousal visa is the one we chose. I freaked out about not having the option of k1 but they didn't even really look at the confirmation page when we picked up his passport and we had nothing to worry about.

Also which location is your fiancé planning on picking up the passport? We chose Jacmel however the address listed on the paper from the embassy is not correct.

My fiance's K1 visa was approved yesterday! Yay! He was given a paper that says to log into our ustraveldoc account and do the IV address registration.

You have to choose a Visa class, however K1 is not an option.

What visa class do I choose?

Thanks!

The K-1 is a nonimmigrant visa with immigrant intent.  The Immigrant Visa units of the consulates perform the interviews.  Look under "nonimmigrant" visa in the system.
