ORLANDO, Fla. (Reuters) - A Florida prosecutor announced on Friday he will not pursue charges against former neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman stemming from a domestic incident earlier this month after the alleged victim recanted.

There are plenty of "no justice, no peace" folks out there who believe anything bad said about Zimmerman must be absolute fact. Conversely, anything positive must be a right wing fabrication. An important part of the story isn't seen in the short quote from the OP, but it's an important consideration:

Zimmerman's lawyer, Don West, told Reuters he was pleased that the charge will be dropped but disappointed the arrest was ever made.
"His arrest was publicized around the world and once again he became the feature of a news story in a case that was not worthy of prosecution," West said.

So, in your world, when the DA drops all charges, it means you are still guilty because the allegation is against someone you don't like. So, if you get arrested and falsely charged and get convicted, well that's just the way it goes. Who are these folks that have the facts? Where do they live? Are they voices in your head or did you just stop taking your meds?

Per ExExpat's argument, we can close Gitmo at once seeing that no charges have ever been brought against any of these people held there nor will any charges ever be brought against any of them. Must mean that they are all totally innocent.

Evidently a lot is lost in translation, in terms of language and culture as well. I don't think there is full comprehension of how the American legal system works there...
