Info received by NVC Rep. Re: sending AOS & IV Packages - Is this accurate??

Hello All

I filed DS-261 a couple of weeks ago and paid AOS invoice (which showed as paid the following day). I recently read in a NVC Process Wiki Guide to call to confirm that the DS-261 was accepted and since my IV fee had not yet been invoiced I did so. I spoke to a rep who said that they recieved the DS-261 and will now process it since i had called- otherwise I am not sure how long it would have taken. The rep then told me that I should mail in my AOS Package and IV package NOW to expedite matters. I told him that the IV fee had not yet been invoiced and thus not paid and he told me that It is fine and actually better to send in BOTH packages now even though the IV fee is yet to be invoiced and paid. I am posting this to see if anyone on this forum can verify that what I was told is true and whether I should send in the packages now or wait until the IV fee is invoiced and paid. Looking forward to your usual knowledgable responses.

I have been told the same thing: to send both AOS and IV packages together event though IV invoice had not been received at that time. Since one of this forum's members received the same response, I sent both packages together before IV fee was paid. I cannot tell you whether this step helped to expedite a review, since our case is currently under review (see my timeline below).

if you are apart of the NVC thread you will notice everyone is sending them together, saylin also updated it on the WIKI.. they allow you to send both together with the AOS cover sheet before iv fee is invoiced.

OK so therefore if I understand this right it is not necessary to send with the IV Package- The Bar-coded cover sheet from payment portal- Since it is not available until the IV fee is invoiced and paid. Am I correct? Thanks -

use the AOS one for both

the AOS barcode sheet is fine to use for both packages. The barcode is the same on both sheets anyhow.
