i use aussie shampoo and conditioner, alternating with fructise (sp) or herbal essence shampoos and conditioners. I have to alternate once a week or my hair gets all oily and way frizzy.

professional products are higher quality and more concentrated so you shouldn't use as much (ie: dime size instead of quarter size). Is there any way you can learn to love your hair in its natural state... lose the blowdryer or use it only on special occasions and get yourself a nice wide tooth comb for when your hair is wet/damp. A hairbrush is brutal on wet hair, specially if it's curly. Also, invest in a pomade or spray shine for a finishing touch to calm the frizzies and look healthier. And a  for deep conditioning 1-2x/week.

Good luck!

Carrie - it's Noura on Said's acct.... ;) - there are some great products for thickening the hair - Rusk, in particular, makes some really good ones - They have a whole line for thin/fine hair called either "thick" or "thickr". Said says: *Or you could do like the girl on that commercial and stuff your hair w/ tissues!:lol::lol:

Here's a question for you all...............

I was putting my 10 yr old to bed a little while ago and before she closed her eyes we had been talking about our ski trip and what nights she'll be with her dad on Feb vacation and all the while I'm thinking that thoughts of missing me and missing him must be going through her head and making her little mind confused.

:(

THEN...................just when I think she's fast asleep her eyes open up and she says outta the blue, "mom..................do eyelashes get split ends?"
