Hello,

Someone can tell me if an employer pay 12 dollars an hour for 40 hours a week, how much i can expect have after healthcare insurance or taxes in the week?

If someone can explain 12 dollars , healthcare it is near of this or include and in true we have less?

Thank you. It is just for understand, i have never work in Usa.

Taxes, I would say around 25% of your paycheck will be deducted for taxes.

Healthcare is the wildcard. It can range widely based on how much your employer pays, how many dependents you put on it, etc. You are not required to get healthcare, You can shop and buy it from an outside agency if your healthcare program suxs at your place of employement

I live in Florida too (no State income tax)

I think you will pay closer to 14% in tax since you do not pay any federal income tax. (I get around 23% deducted, but that is with 401k savings, flexible spendings account, federal income tax and health insurance)

Medicare is 1.45% of your wage and social security is 6.2%. Your other tax rate you will have to calculate based on your number of deductions, etc. You might also end up paying tax during the year but getting it back come tax refund time.

Hard to really say without knowing the intimate details of your tax/financial situation, which you shouldn't probably share online.
