Question; did you submit the police certificate with the IV package to the NVC or obtained it for the interview date? I am trying not to travel to TEGUS just for that police record. Any help would be appreciated.

You Will need the police record for the interview, Is absolutly necesary for the interview, they only accept from Direccion general de investigación criminal (DGIC) in Tegucigalpa.

10. Police Certificate: The Constancia de Antecedentes Policiales document should be provided by the Dirección Nacional de Investigación Criminal in Comayaguela only, and not from the Juzgado or any other city.

If applicable, provide the police certificate for:

The country of nationality,

The country of the applicants residence at the time of visa interview, and

Any other country in which the applicant has resided for one year or more.

Police certificates are not required for children under 16. If the beneficiary is between 16 and

17 years old, the presence of the parent will be required, with an identification card (original and copy), and the beneficiarys birth certificate proving that the parent is indeed the biological parent.

Yes i do understand that the police certificate is a must for the interview. My question is is it a must to submit with the IV package that goes to NVC. If I don't submit it will I get a RFE? And hold up the process? How long did it take to an interview once the IV package
