Has anybody got any tips on the best time to sign Knightsbridge? Trying before closing time on a Friday probably wasn't my smartest move as I wouldn't be surprised if they turn their phone system off early on a Friday!

However, I've been trying all morning and it's been engaged the entire time!

Just looked at my call history for knightsbridge. I called on a Tuesday (16th June) calling at:

12:54 - busy

12:57 - busy

12:59 - got through, it said I spent 2 mins on the phone so I must have got through quite quickly that time.

Haha funny you say that I've just got through and booked it in. I'm an impatient sod!

Curiously they didn't ask me which visa I was applying for, but booked me in for the 12th of August which should leave plenty of time for the case to get to the Embassy seeing it's been in-transit since last Thursday.

It's been a good day. Medical booked, and the CEAC case status checker is now reading 'Ready'. Will be getting my letter soon, presumably!

I had my Embassy interview today. I was still nervous and anxious, despite checking, double checking and triple checking that I had everything prepared and ready. What if they found a reason to refuse the visa?

I need not have worried...

APPROVED!

So happy and relieved! My interviewer said I should have the visa in approx. 2 weeks. I told her my flight was booked for 3 weeks from today so fingers crossed!

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. I'm relieved and excited to over the last K1 hurdle!

Checked my status today, and it's as expected. Can't wait for it to change to "Issued"!

So, do you start using the Non-Immigrant visa CEAC check post DS160? Up until this point I've been using the Immigrant visa option and typing in my LND number.

Blimey, that was quick! Interview Monday 20th, "Administrative Processing" Tuesday 21st, "Issued" Wedensday 22nd!
