I may be jumping the gun here a little, as I was only tagged as issued yesterday.

But, does anyone have a contact number for the courier service that will deliver my passport? I've paid the extra for home delivery. Just was interested to see where or if they have my passport yet.

My confirmation email for payment for Visa/delivery is unclear on who sends it,but I'm pretty sure it's DX.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

The depot phone numbers used to be posted in the online selection/payment thing. They were later removed. However, I copied and pasted their entire list into the pinned K1 thread at the top of the forum prior to their removal of phone numbers. You can find them there.

But until the embassy packages up your entire immigration file into a sealed envelope and turns it and your passport over to the courier desk at the embassy, your depot won't be able to help. The use of "courier desk" is my made up term meaning there has to be a turnover place on site where the courier packages and addresses your things for delivery based on how you registered with the courier. Then the courier package is in the DX system and they email you to say it will be delivered next day hopefully.

Edit to above. That is kinda my guess on how it goes. I don't know for sure if the embassy fills the deliver plastic wrapper and prepares the address label or if DX onsite at the embassy is contracted to perform that task. But it is a step that has to happen after the embassy seals your immigration file in the "Do not open" envelope. So a couple of steps after the visa is printed.

If it you got issued yesterday I'd give it two working days, so if you minus the weekend you should get an email either on monday or tuesday :) Mine was a pick up so I randomly got an email.

Congratulations !! I know how you feel and I cant wait to be with my other half :( .. just counting the days as my job required 4 weeks notice. I feel like a lil school girl counting down her birthday haha

Thank you!

Its hard, but just think of the feeling of being on the plane. 4 weeks will go in no time, helps to keep a countdown app on my phone. Helped me when i had visits, and a countdown to them.

Best of luck to you!

No sign of passport yet, rang courier this morning and it's not in the system yet. But I was only issued on Friday, and with the weekend it's a little early to call I guess.

Still think I'll get it this week, just imagine London sent a lot out recently.

Fingers crossed for everyone who got issued recently.

I'm sure it will be out for delivery very soon! My interview was the 23rd and I am still 'ready' in the CEAC status portal. Hoping to see AP and issued this week

They will send an email to you once the courier has your passport. They will send out a tracking number as well. I believed I was on Issue for 2 or 3days before I received the email that they've got my passport. Best of luck to you :)

My CEAC status still says ready but says the last updated date changed from the 25th to the 29th July. Does this potentially mean AP soon and then issued!?

Its a good sign, means someone has opened your case.

A better sign, that its about to go into AP/Issued, is when the case creation date changes.

Hope its soon. Best of luck!

Finally a visa breaks the long silence in the "How Long?" thread. Thanks for updating that. More to come soon!! Will be interesting to see how long it takes for the numbers to come back down as they catch up.

Congratulations.

Thank you Nich-Nick!

Also as we end our CR-1 journey I'd like to thank you personally for all the helpful posts you make on this site. Even though I may not have asked you too many questions personally, your answers to others that I was able to read and apply to our situation helped us out in our journey as well. Hopefully, in 2 years, you're just as knowledgeable in removing conditions! :star:

You are so lucky you don't have to adjust status like all these K1s do. My ROC method was start a folder where you can stash things from right now that show both names, joint things, photos, trip boarding passes, etc. Then in two years you have a big messy pile of things to choose from and organize that show a range of dates covering the whole two years. If you fill out something for work to add your husband, photocopy it before turning in. When the auto insurance proofs expire, put the old ones in the stash. If you buy a car and put both names on the paperwork, photocopy and add to ROC. Adopt a pet, get in both names. Etc, etc. It's a small task to add things as you go instead of reconstructing two years and wishing you hadn't thrown things away. Mine was disorganized and messy, but lots there to choose from when the time came. It was our largest submission of all of them.
