Currently having a bit of trouble (although nothing like you poor guys are going through with the outage issue) sent a letter of intent via Royal Mail on Thursday of last week got told it would be there within 2-4 days and passport pics a couple of days later, they wouldn't come out right after cropping them so had to send those to.

Everything is apparently in Chicago, being processed. These are the only things holding us back from starting the process :ranting:

Confused. What is in Chicago being processed? Did your fiancé apply without your letter of intent and photo? Did she send it to Chicago?

Sorry that was my not so excellent typing, I had to send the letter of intent and photo's to my better half via the postal service as they're missing from our list. They have been going through processing at O'Hare, currently twiddling my thumbs waiting for them to be delivered to her.

I see. Well congratulations on almost starting. Lots of thumb twiddling ahead, so you are practicing a skill that will be used often for the next couple of years. Master the forward, reverse, and salsa rhythm for extra spice in your life. :P

Hello everyone! I had my interview yesterday in London. My anxiety of the interview itself was proved to be not worth it all. The lady CO was very nice and I was only asked 5 questions after having my fingersprints taken and the oath. She then stated I am happy to say that I will aprrove your visa etc etc. it will take about 3-4weeks for you to receive it by courier. But don't book anything yet as with the backlog, it's better for you to have your visa on hand as I am not exactly sure how long it will take really. Or words to that effect...

Goodluck to everyone still waiting for theirs.

Thanks DeborahNeil. :) can't wait to get my passport back so that we can book flights. It's getting to be more expensive as the days go on.. He is so excited he wants to book mid july lol.

I can totally relate to that. We were approved on June 5 and still waiting for our visa to be issued. Everyone else on that date so far has gotten theirs and they say it's not waiting on the system problems just to wait a couple more days. blah blah. I was hoping he could fly by Sunday since like you said every day it gets more expensive. Good luck

~ Deborah
