Maybe. That normally is the sidekick to a tax return, so in your future immigration things, like AOS, don't submit the supporting actor (W2) without the lead actor ( all pages of the tax return.)

Should i try and get more proof of income from her? I was hoping the W-2 would be enough with the info it has on it.

London is so easy on that so probably enough proof for them. Can she scan her tax return and email it just for extra.

Or there is the online tax return transcripts. You download as a PDF. Somebody said it was down because of hacking, so the instant transcript may not be an option.

Edit: I think the #### means I made a typo in the word shut. Wrong vowel. Shut down

Read my edit :P

Just scan her return. Noting original or complicated. Tax return + W2 are actually partners making up the "complete tax return".

Yep, the online transcript thingy is down. But you can just as easily request them to send it to you via mail. It's on the same IRS webpage (just fill out a little online info). They got it to us in about 5 days.

Had my biometrics today, fingers crossed for some noa2's soon. Also passed my written test and got my drivers permit, woohoo!! On my temporary papers it says the expiration is 2018, I was expecting to have top renew it with the EAD, hoping that I somehow managed to bypass that...

Was able to visit this past week... and encountered no problems at the POE in Atlanta.

Got lots of stuff done including tasting cake, getting my suit picked out and finding an apartment! Also had our couples shower with friends and her family which was great, and my first taste of the prolonged American wedding process haha!

It feels like we made progress, but as we are still awaiting the NOA2 it feels a way off at the same time. Back to work tomorrow morning to get on with 'normal' life...

Anyone who's read my other posts about waiting for my K1 Packet 4 (Interview date letter) will know I'm sitting here eagerly awaiting its delivery.

Well...I logged into CEAC today to find that my file had been "touched" again today.

Hopefully that's someone entering a note saying "letter sent". <<FINGERS CROSSED SO MUCH THEY HURT>>

It's been weird for me because everyone says it's normally about 2 weeks from your medical...

Well my medical was 4 weeks ago, but I had a 2 week delay due to waiting for my doctors to fax some details back to Knightsbridge Medical..

Knightsbridge received those details 2 weeks ago tomorrow so I'm considering tomorrow as my 2 week mark.

Everyone please think happy thoughts for me! I hate waiting without knowing a date.

Had my medical done today (at the Bentinck Mansions location).

It all seemed relatively smooth and painless, pretty much routine stuff. I got there about 15 minutes before my appointment time, filled in another questionnaire and was seen fairly near to my scheduled time (might have been about 15 minutes later than scheduled). Had the chest X-Ray, then the chat with the doctor (including bloods taken, blood pressure, weight/ height and eye test). Nothing dramatic. Then a very brief chat with the nurse at the reception desk regarding vaccinations and payment. I'm not sure if they did the vaccination sheet right, despite me querying them over it, and that was the only point where I felt I was being rushed. I will scan and post up my vaccination sheet (removing all personal information of course) in another thread to see what other's think.

All in, I was in and out in approximately 1 hour.

As far as the medical is concerned, there's nothing to be scared of

Excited for you guys! Out of interest, how long after the medical did you submit the applicant readiness form?

You can submit the readiness form before you have the medical (as long as you've actually booked the medical) and also if you have met all the other requirements as outlined in the Fiance Instructions from the Embassy:

Please note that the interview will not be scheduled until you have completed Steps 1 - 4 and the Immigrant Visa Unit is in receipt of the medical examination.

Step 1 - Complete the application Form DS-160 for each family member applying for a visa and print the confirmation page as it will be required at the time of your interview. If a question does not apply to you, please mark it with a N/A.

Step 2 - Assemble all of the documents required in support of your application, including the Affidavit of Support from your fiance(e) or in the case of a K3 visa applicant, spouse. Download the document checklisthere, as a PDF file. Do not send any documents to the Immigrant Visa Unit.

Step 3 - Schedule a medical examination with the Embassy approved physician. All visa applicants, regardless of age, require a medical examination. Information about the medical, including how to book is available here.

Step 4 –Once you have completed steps 1-3 above, notify the Immigrant Visa Unit that you are ready for an inteview by using ourNotification of Applicant Readiness online form, here. They will complete all necessary processing of your visa application and will contact you in writing if additional information is required. Your application will take up to 6 weeks to process at the end of which, you will be notified of the date of the appointment for the visa interview.
