So after reading Bytermoon's predicament and everyone's replies, I'm a little worried.

I have my Medical on June 10th, and plan to visit the U.S from June 26th - July 20th.

Upon returning to the U.K, I'll hopefully have my embassy interview sometime mid-August and then return to the U.S mid September on my K-1 (providing its approved, of course!). Any advice?

I've already paid for my flights etc, and the last time I was in America was February 22nd, if that matters?

Its been a good while since your last visit, and your upcoming visit is a good while away yet. I think you will be fine. You would have left a 4 month gap since your last visit, and having big gaps between visits is always going to help your case.

The only concern id have, is having your interview before you are due to return, which i guess is a good thing to worry about! (Mine is 5 weeks 3 days after my medical)

That was a concern at first, but I was under the impression that they won't schedule your interview until after you submit a readiness form online?

I was planning on waiting to submit that while I'm in America so (fingers crossed) I'll return to a letter from the embassy with my interview date. Does that sound right?

Thats correct, they wont schedule until that form is in. So yes, you would be fine. The only thing that would happen with your plan, would you getting your K1 later, than if you submitted your readiness form now/when medical is done. Just depends on how eager you are to move to be with your fiance forever. But it would only hopefully be a matter of weeks anyway.

wow after 10, 000 years, I have finally received the much awaited email from DX regarding my visa!!! It took 2 weeks and 1 day, give or take that 1 bank holiday, so 2 weeks

Ouch, thats a long wait, sorry it was so long. Could it have been caused partly by the recent bank holiday etc? Hoping mine isnt as long!
