Chris and Kas, many congratulations on being approved, and so quickly too! :dancing:

It's so good to hear success stories, gives me hope that my partner and I won't have too long to wait before we can be together on a permanent basis :)

Hey all, sorry for the lack of updates (because I know you all missed me :P )

Aubrey and I got married! Yesterday we finally did what we've been trying to do since we started this process. I finally made it to the states about 2 weeks ago, we're filing for my SSN on Thursday and beginning the AOS procedure.

I'm glad to see so many others here getting approved too!

Congratulations!! That is such exciting news! I am so glad everything went smoothly.

Simon has his interview tomorrow morning - we are SO nervous. He is in London now staying a hotel nearby so he can get up and get to the Embassy bright and early. His appointment is at 9am and we have triple checked all of his documents.

SOOOOO anxious for this step to be over!!!

Congratulations. I was up until 2 on Thursday morning, so I know that feeling very well!

We were cheeky a couple of weeks ago and bought a one-way ticket from Iceland Air. It was $500. Couldn't say no!

I'm not entirely sure on this portion of the timeline. CEAC says that it will be around 10 business days, but it could be earlier I suppose? Maybe next week is most probable?

That is so exciting!!!! Yay!

Yeah, Simon found an insane one way deal on Virgin for the 22nd which is perfect timing since he is done with work on the 21st. I think we may also risk it and buy it now because all of the other tickets are SO outrageous. With miles and stuff he can get the flight for under 200 pounds! Oh, I haven't looked into Iceland Air...I will take a look at that too! Ahhhhhhh! So exciting!!

Which airport are you flying to? Do you mind indirect? We almost always find better fares with indirect. It can be a pain if you have a long layover, but it can also save you some decent money.

Pilot, could you be eligible for anything from STA travel? I know phoebe booked her flight through them? Have you tried performing a skyscanner search?
