He's trying to remain calm. He's on the fence-one minute he's fine, the next he's unsure.

What exactly is he worried about? The CO saying "no?" Because your petition was approved at USCIS so he's just going to confirm he really is Kas!! No need to be worried :). I was worried I would forget something! But our relationship is real so I never had any nerves over that so he shouldn't either. He will be fine :)

Essentially. I think its a culmination of stress from handling all of his affairs and this interview. I've relayed all the reviews to him, he's read reviews on British Expats, London seems to be a breeze. I'm banking it's just the stress that is getting to him.

I know we'll be fine. Our petition was so front loaded, it was unreal. Since it was submitted, we met one more time in New York for a brief weekend, so he's insisted on taking more photographs with him.

I think he's a little worried about us being a same sex couple-even though I live in a state where it's permitted. But considering we are both coming from areas that it's allowed, this isn't even a concern for me. As you said, it survived uscis, and if it wasn't okay, we wouldn't have made it this far.

However, I know he won't rest easy until he gets that big fat approval from the CO. ??

Let us know how it goes! I'll probably send him your review to mull over on Wednesday night.

We are skyping either this weekend or early next week to verify he's got all the documents in order.

what if they say thats not good enough? i think itll be enough.

then the other is my name change deed poll is only a photocopy. daft stuff

Showing up and being rescheduled is new to me. I know people have gotten calls and emails if something came up that required rescheduling, but they had some warning. That does not happen often. Wonder if everybody was sent away? Maybe they shifted the close ones who didn't travel far in order to reduce the numbers. Holiday weekend--may have been short staffed, then some others called in sick leaving them unable to cover all scheduled. Could be all kinds of reasons.

They had better not even try that with me. I'd be out hundreds of pounds. Is April 7th the next available day? You'd think considering everyone has to travel into London for this that they could at least have given you a little more than just "It's administrative."

I know exactly what you mean. I watched them all in a marathon of self pity. If those people could get approved, what was wrong with us kind of thing. :secret:

That show drives me crazy. The 90 days should not be for you to decide if you really want to get married and try living together. I think that if you are going to marry someone you should really know that already. I understand that it is not always the case where people can be together for long periods of time but it makes me sad to see there is not a "regular" couple on there to show how it really is but then I guess that would not make good "reality" TV.
