Yeah it took just two days for mine to change, probably yours will today or tomorrow.

I just got an email from the Embassy saying they have sent it the courier and it will get there within two days, they gave me a tracking number to check on DX website.

I did straight away and it says will be ready for pick up 10/3/15 which is tomorrow, yay!!

Woohoo! Excellent news!

Received a response from the embassy regarding our interview date- vague response. They received our medical results and all our paperwork, and will be in touch once a date has been established. WAH WAH WAH!

As Shana.Mike said-near the end of this initial bit, I am getting impatient, too! Yes we have loads more waiting in the future, but at least we will be waiting together rather than 5,000 miles apart.

Hope to hear maybe something this week as in two weeks time it'll be a month from his medical.

That's good news! Did you do the subject line trick?? Fingers crossed for you guys.

Did you put a date on your form of readiness for the wedding? We put May 2 so really hoping that will help when it comes time to get something scheduled.

I would have to ask him what date he put down for the wedding. And what subject line trick?!

I heard something to get them to respond faster, you can select the 'change my interview date' option and they check those first! Oh, so many tricks ha

You got an email response so no tricks needed. They aren't going to tell you a date if one hasn't been set yet.

When you email and ask, they move your file to the bottom of the waiting stack for wasting their time. WAH WAH

Oooh, congrats Mrs! How did it feel getting a quickie wedding? Do you guys feel any different?

No it still felt special. I bought myself a short wedding dress off the rack to wear for the ceremony and it was done by a family friend of Dan's in a beautiful park nearby. It was 65 which is amazing for March, couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! And of course, Dan cried like a baby haha ;):P poor thing having to marry me  I am excited for the "real" wedding next year though! We booked our venue this weekend! :D

That's exciting pheebs! Already a Mrs's!?

Hooray Vicks!

Thanks lovely :)

End of business day 2 and no change to CEAC! I know these things can take longer, so forgive me for my rambling :P.

That's good that they have everything in place though, I'm sure you'll get your letter soon! Hang tight. I know what you mean, I don't care about the AOS waiting since I'll be over there and with him.

Look at you speaking in Fahrenheit and not Celsius! You're american already ;) No waaay, can't believe Dan cried! I know for a fact my man won't shed a tear haha! That's so cute. Oh wow, what venue did you pick?

That sounds lovely to me, we plan to go to the court house to get married and then we will have the "real" wedding next year also, we were going to have it in May but it is too short notice for planning and so on. So recently we agreed it is best to wait until next year as we will have plenty of time to plan everything which definitely is better for sure. I am excited to plan for it in person and my Fiance's family are going to be involved, his sisters are excited to plan with us and help me with decorations and I will go dress shopping with his sisters and his mom.

Also the positive thing about waiting until next year is my sister, and my parents will more likely be able to come and they could save up for flights etc, even maybe my nieces might be able to.

I wonder if my Fiance will cry, he might and I feel it is sweet shows how much he loves me and it is also romantic.

We are having our actual wedding in July. We will have our reception held at the Embassy Suites Hotel. We will do a honeymoon as well but our big one will be for our one year mark. I told him I want to go back to England then go to Spain. I have been planning the wedding for some time (since I got engaged June of last year). I will be grateful when this is all over!! I spoke with someone at the DMV and they told me he can get his driver's license immediately, just have to bring the proper docs. We will apply for his SSC shortly after returning from our honeymoon and do AOS stuff as well. I have a binder that has tabs for different sections...keeping it all organized!

If he gets one it will most likely expire when his legal presence expires. That will be 90 days from POE. Then he will have to wait for EAD to have a document showing legal presence for a year. Many states don't issue a license for such a short time, so most K1s have to have EAD to get a license.
