Thanks, dude  How's it going?

It's in English. :)

We are doing swimmingly well. Everything was great at the medical... Just waiting for that interview letter now! Is there an "impatient" route to go down in order to get the date before a paper copy comes through the pipeline?

The distance is starting to really grate my emotions. It's been a kind of turbulent return to reality after our brief trip to New York late last month.

I think Pheebs emailed the embassy to get her interview date. She chose the option "i want to rearrange my interview" because apparently they look at those emails sooner! But in general they do get back to you within a few days.

Aww, I know how that feels. When he left from our Christmas/New Year together I was a bit glum for a week! Just bummed around my house doing nothing feeling sorry for myself! This will be the longest we've been apart, 9 months in total not living in the same country. Can't wait to move there next month and be done with this stupid distance thing for GOOD!

We are aiming for an August date for POE, might be sooner. Just a matter of him wrapping up things in London. I go to visit him in May for his birthday for 10 days, so hopefully that will help. I'm just getting sad from the Skype dates and the phone calls. I want cuddles and hugs and kisses.

Anyway, enough whining. I think this is helping build a solid foundation for our future. All this work will pay out into something amazing.

That's really sweet you guys are making such a big effort to fill in the time you're away from each other. You're right, I think distance can reveal the strength of a relationship. Since this is our second round of long distance it hasn't been so bad, but I remember the first round being tough! You can do it :)

Our CEAC status updated again today, I imagine that is in response to our medical results being received? Perhaps packet 4 has also been plopped in the mail? We can hope!

It's great! I've had a couple of "I feel overwhelmed by this move" moments but I think that's more the jet lag and hectic weekend than anything deeply rooted. It all happened in such a rush in the end it took me by surprise. Good luck for thursday!!!! I'll be thinking of you :)
