With all this talk of the tetanus shot, I'm getting confused about which shot Daniel will need. Will they accept any version (td, Tdap, etc...) so long as he has record of having pertussis done or should he just wait until the medical to see which one they want him to have and make them do it then? I was going to have him get the immunizations done while we wait for NOA2.

I believe it needs to be in the last ten years, with any version accepted.

Cool. Poor guy has 4 tetanus shots on his record, but none in the last 10 years. He also swears he had a mmr booster in school but there's no record of it. I'll tell him to request the td and mmr with his gp. Save a little money.

Eugh, poor chap! Perhaps his GP can pull up his vaccination history and find it?! Keeping my fingers crossed for you! Definitely cheaper to get it done before knightsbridge like you say

I know. I thought I knew what he needed but then I saw the posts today here and got confused. I think I was right and feel ok about it now. I just would hate to mess it up for him and cause him to have to do the civil surgeon thing.

Oh shoot. That's a serious bummer. Daniel has 4 on his record so hopefully he's ok.

.

Well he can skip varicella by saying he had chickenpox. And he can skip influenza if he goes to Knightsbridge after March 31. So just looking for MMR and the tetanus/diptheria/pertussis record. Hopefully those are already done and tetanus is not expired. US requires MMR x2 in your life, it isn't boosted if he's had two. Edited by Nich-Nick

Safe travels. Maybe you can get a license and get married in a back room somewhere by the officiant doing his sister's wedding. A secret wedding while everybody is eating cake.

Kas' medical is on Thursday, should he ask for any documentation to have for personal records/further down the road when we adjust status?
