When my CEAC updated, they changed the case creation date as well; how strange...

Case Creation Date: 02-Jun-2016 Status Updated Date: 02-Jun-2016 and still Ready

"Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application."

Back in the USA for a week with my husband. Much smoother POE this time.

We had a K-1 person on the flight over here yesterday.

Hoping for NOA2 before the middle of June.

Your medical will typically be at the embassy in 3-4 days so five days should be fine as they suggest. The wait is for blood test results to get back from the lab. Considering a medical appointment could be available in one week, but no interview slots for 4-6 weeks, most results will be there in plenty of time. If not, they just wait on them before your visa goes to printing.

Lots of people do that. You should have your police certificate and shots sorted before going to the medical. Sometimes GPs are slow to give you records so get all the ducks in a row before planning the medical.
