I know the feeling! I have another 10 or 12 months to wait. The longest year of my life. I keep telling myself "think how quickly Christmas seems to come each year" but I know this year is going to be awful. Keep busy!

I really feel for you, having to wait that long is so much worse :(

That is the worst feeling, I'm with you. It gets better though, that's the thing to hold on to.

It really is! So many are being approved near me, I can only hope that I'm sat in the bottom of a work pile and that they might get to me next week since this week is done. I had been hoping for a late march early april medical. The longer it takes the less chosey I can be about when we fly.

But at least I can sleep tonight knowing nothing is going to be on the system tomorrow. I keep waking up at 4am (internal alarm) and checking on the week days..

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. I didn't hear from Knightsbridge and CEAC has had a status update so can only assume my medical paperwork has been received at the embassy - now the wait for a interview date. If I chose to call NVC how long would people suggest leaving to give them a call after the medical?

Have a great week everyone, always makes me smile seeing peoples updates on how things are going.

I also tried to find the feed for checking timings compared to other cases but can't find it - can any one paste the link for me? Thank you

Hello all, safely made it to my finishing point. POE wasn't too bad apart from the queues of people.

The real fun was the internal flight, everything I had with me was checked and I got the full treatment just what was needed after a bit of an emotional morning haha.

Hope everyone is doing well :)

Arrived safely in Austin, no issues :) Doesn't seem like they get many people coming through here on a K1, but no difficulties in secondary or anything. So happy, heading to get the marriage license tomorrow!

My doctors are useless, they are not taking my request for more information seriously. I had a telephone consultation with my doctor and she told me to make an appointment which I did but the first appointment I could get is the 21st. I stressed to the receptionist that it was kind of urgent and she told me "no it's not we don't have time for people like you, you will have to wait as visas are not a priority" She was very rude about it all. Feeling very deflated right now.

All I want is to get a simple letter how difficult should it be?!
