We have gone through and done that now! I'm sorry - I just had a ~minor~ freak out that we jumped the gun on things.

Yes he was on the one for the K-1 visa. I just was unsure if he could sign back in, so this was really helpful! Thank yoU!

I am planning on calling probably tomorrow / Thursday.... I'm going to just try and chill out for a little bit... Just got a little over excited... Anxious for this to be over!!

Thats understandable, at this stage I am just waiting for my NOA2 so I imagine I'd be the same at your stage. Ready to get it over with and get back home to my man. Hope it all goes well :)

This isn't really an issue since our wedding isn't for few months, but I am curious.

Did anyone who was approved recently keep and eye on their CEAC status immediately after?

Ours was updated today and still says "ready". I searched the forums and it has apparently stayed the ready for a while after for some people, so I was curious if it happened to anyone here recently.

Fiance got an e-mail back from the embassy today with his Interview time!

They said not to worry if he doesn't receive the letter by the time of the interview. -- I'm going to be honest I will still be worried because it explicitly says on the website to bring the interview letter to the interview! I think we will have him print out the e-mail communication with the embassy any bring that. Hopefully he will get the letter anyway.

Just thought I'd give a quick update. Sorry for the rambling! Looking forward to being able to post an approved message in 3 weeks!

The email will work. Even if he went with nothing, they have a list outside of all the scheduleded interviews for the day and would let him in. No worries.

Funnily enough, I was worried about the same thing as we got a verbal confirmation from the Embassy and USCIS about my interview day and time which ended up being only 3 days later. Still got the letter in time anyway!

I don't mean to overstep - but was your flight like super expensive? haha! We are investigating flights now, but are going to wait until the interview to purchase. I'm in Greenville, SC - so looking at Atlanta or Charlotte - but so far only seeing reasonable flights with a like over 24 hour layovers or the first stop being somewhere else in the states without long enough times? We will pay whatever we need to of course.

Just curious what other people coming to the south have done.

I'm in Alabama and went through Atlanta. If you want to get a return and then cancel the return leg (to ensure no problems with your future paperwork) you can get flights for around £700 in my experience. One way going to cost you well over £1,000. I always found that there were options leaving sufficient time in between connecting flights from Atlanta? I've always flown with Delta so maybe check them out?

I thought about the return flight option - but wasn't sure if they would think that was fishy when he was going through the POE!

I was seeing returns being cheaper too.

I was thinking like at least 3 hours for the layover? I did see a couple - but its just preliminary searches right now.

Thank you!!

Normally I hate phones but I gave the NVC a ring - turns out my interview will be on the 17th of March (also at 1pm). The woman on the phone was extremely helpful and matter of fact, I was expecting it to be much harder to get information than it was.

I feel so much better knowing this. Time to figure out when to talk to my boss about the fact I'll be leaving and book a trip down to London.
