Michael's interview is tomorrow. He got into London tonight and is resting up. Weird how when we first met he was someone who got nervous going into a store by himself, and now he has taken the trip to a city he isn't really a fan of on his own and seemed fine. If anything I am the one who is a nervous wreck.

Just want to fast forward to the morning!

Good luck :)

He actually was asked quite a few more questions than what I have heard from reviews but everything worked out in the end!

That's really exciting! I remember that your fiancé had the same date as me so I might give them a call too.

Does this mean you need to take the invitation letter to the embassy with you?

Good luck!! I'm sure it'll all go off without a hitch, but it must be strange experiencing it all from so far away!

The woman at the NVC said that he would need the information in the letter for the interview (obviously it has the time etc). But I also think that it has information about registering for a courier service as well.

Ahhhhh. Help needed!

So as I mentioned in a previous post I called the NVC last night and she told me my fiances interview was scheduled for March 14th. (didn't tell me time just told me it was scheduled) and that the packet had been mailed out Feb. 9th. She told me if he didn't receive it soon he should call. So today (probably should have waited until like thursday or friday) he called and someone told him to go on to the MRV / Visa Fee website and pay the fees.

Problem: Since we don't have the letter yet we don't know the interview time. Does anyone know if you can stop the form once you've started and pick it back up? Or are we basically screwed right now and may have just complicated everything more!!!!

Clearly I'm not very good at waiting for things. But also we are very confused about the differences between what the NVC said to me and what the Embassy said to him.

You create a login and password first, so that's should be the way back in by choosing "Continue" or "Sign In" rather than "Register". He most likely talked to the Non-immigrant visa unit because there is no way to talk to the Immimgrant Visa Unit by calling. They sometimes give confusing info because they are speaking about visas like student, tourist, clergy, nanny....

The page needs to be the Immigrant Visa portal. It's green. https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv

The other is blue https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/niv and not the correct place for. K1.

Yay, Issued! Does that mean passport might be ready to be given to the couriers tomorrow? Does the courier send an email to say they have the passport and is there a way to track it?

You can also still email the embassy and make inquiries that way. They should be able to tell you the info.

Took a 2-3 days for the email to be sent imagine by Thursday/Friday, there is a tracker but it's not the best.

We have gone through and done that now! I'm sorry - I just had a ~minor~ freak out that we jumped the gun on things.

Yes he was on the one for the K-1 visa. I just was unsure if he could sign back in, so this was really helpful! Thank yoU!

Congratulations! :)

Can you just call NVC up and ask them?

I am planning on calling probably tomorrow / Thursday.... I'm going to just try and chill out for a little bit... Just got a little over excited... Anxious for this to be over!!
