It's a good feeling isn't it? You decided when you're flying?

I have spent the day letting my doctor, hospital, dentist, pensions etc know I'm moving Sunday, I have my USD and have arranged for the rest of my funds to follow - nearly time to face the conundrum that is getting my stuff in just the 2 cases

That sucks if you made an appointment to fit with your rota and they change the rota, any half decent employer would honour the day

Sure is, I spoke to my manager here he made a few calls and it got agreed Looking at 5/3 for flying out.

Oh i'll be doing all of that fun stuff next week only have a couple of weeks to be doing everything. Haha that's going to be the hard part deciding on what to take and what to leave behind

I can't wait to hand my notice in for work they are not being supportive at all, they now have me down to work on my day off which is the day of my medical, I'm now being told that the rotas have changed to suit someone else wanting Full time hours so my shifts have been changed and they now want me to put in A/L or TOIL on the day of my medical :/ the whole reason I picked that day was so that I could do my medical without anyone knowing but now my manager has told everyone :/ I'm looking at possibly changing my medical date to a day I know I'm off.

I've been to my doctors today and had my MMR and Flu jabs I have to wait a few days before I can call them and get an updated version of my medical records.

I would of told them you'd already made plans that can't be changed. It's none of their business what they are. I hope you manage to sort out another day.

I've told work that I'd made plans as it's my day off but no to suit everyone else I have to change it, I was thinking if my case is received this week at London I'll change the date to a day I'm off but its just more expense swapping everything. I'll have to see how it goes but id rather do my medical sooner rather than later!

I think work secretly can't wait for me to leave currently getting picked on a lot by the boss, I'll be glad to hand my notice in and get on that plane!!

edit to add - just checked mine on CEAC, case creation date was 3rd, last update (issued) was 8th
