Thanks everyone for your kind words yesterday.

Still don't know what's happening really can only be there when needed, hopefully things will become clearer.

Thanks again :)

We tried on Tuesday, got an automated message saying to check a website out and the line cut out, so unfortunately still in the dark on that one, medical was a couple of weeks ago today so fingers crossed that letter will be getting through the door any day now.

Yeah like I mentioned before there are free switches as long as the start and end point is the same city. I was able to get the same flight just a day earlier. It's really a bummer that I get one less day with my baby, especially since we planned a bunch of stuff for the final day, but at least I won't have to worry about some last minute new airport change.

I think if I would have stuck with my original flight, and then it had been canceled on me, that's when I would have gotten all the vouchers and such. When I called to switch my flight there were some I had in mind where I wouldn't have to leave any earlier, but because they utilized different services (ie Aer Lingus) that I couldn't switch to those. BUT in the case of my flight being totally cancelled, then they could try and stick me on any flight regardless of the other carriers involved. Which yeah opened more options but also more bad options like some flights with 13hr+ layovers so I just played it safe. Sad, but safe.

It is just want to see when it is, pretty much prepared just need to get some photos and i'll be good to go.

Thought it would be either this week or next, it's looking more likely it'll be next week now.

I am rooting for you! You never know - could be a 25th Jan like me!

I don't suppose anyone would know how the embassy works? My dad will be with me, would he be able to wait inside?!

A quicker one would be lovely, had it worked out for around the 16/02 if the 6 weeks from submitting the readiness form is accurate.

Only another 4 days for yours :o it will be smashed :)

I actually had a dream about getting approved last night was so weird. I waited for like 3 hours. People were coming and going, then I finally had mine and I was in there for 5 mins before being told I was approved. But then at the end I couldn't find a document and I was panicking and they were like, sorry we are closing now!!!

Me and dad are ready for a 4:30am start ... just need to find out what he can do while he waits!

The dream was sounding so good until the last bit!!! Your be way to organised for that to happen though :)

Hopefully it'll be a nice easy one, he won't be having to sit around too much, one early start though. I'm planning on staying over the night before somewhere relatively close by.

Just got some news about yesterday's "fun" she is now of the ventilator, awake and looking more like herself :)

Thanks again to everyone that said anything nice, definitely more relaxed than yesterday.

Now that is great news!

You must be so relieved :)

My house looks huge and only some of the furniture has gone, the rest goes next Thursday, me and the dog are rattling round in big half empty rooms - feels weird
