Mine's on Thursday (29th) can't wait. Tell me how you get on, we have similar timelines!

Approved! It was great. I was first into the embassy haha..

Was in and about in an hour... Very simple and straightforward.

Now waiting for updates on the CEAC website.

Congrats, did they want to see further evidence of the relationship, from NOA2 TO NOW?

Do you get your documents back

and how long did they say it would take to get your passport back?

oh and sorry what time did you get there?

thanks in advance

All they wanted to see was: Police check, birth certificate, IRS tax report, Affidavit form, DS-160, Interview confirmation.. I would still bring it all just in case.

She did ask some basic questions about the relationship

I cant recall about all documents, I have to check tonight. I think they may have kept some.

The lady said one week, its more like 7-9 days on average I think.

I got there at 645 and I was the second person there. By 7 there were already 20-30 people in line. It really does move quick once you are inside. They call a new ticket every 15-20 seconds.

Just to update any interested parties. Got here on October 7th and got married on the 17th. Following our honeymoon in New Orleans (it was great fun and it is quite the interesting city in more ways than one!) we're in our new apartment and while my wife has been at work the past couple of days, I've been sorting through wedding gifts, getting everything unpacked etc. It's still a bit surreal that I am actually here for good, but it feels amazing!

So my mom is inside the embassy in London and they Have some computer problem, system is down and they cant process any interviews etc. At the moment they dont know anything. If the system is back on they will start interviews. Most likely everyone will Have to reschedule.

Aparently inside is overcrowded and there is loads of people waiting outside and they dont let any more in

No one said if that will affect issuing visas.

I Just thought to let you know guys.

I was one of the lucky ones on October 28th who managed to stay and have everything approved after the system crash. Everyone felt very sorry for those that had decided to leave already.

Question - My daughter's K2 says ISSUED on CEAC yet mine is still in AP and says if they require anything further they will be in touch. Why would they require more when I had my interview last week?

Document wise, they asked for no relationship evidence whatsoever. I handed in the ACRO, birth certs, passports and Affidavit of support but they didn't ask for bank statements or tax returns. I didn't even have to provide a notorised consent order from my daughter's father to move with her. Very suprised at how little they asked for but also relieved!

GoodGood luck to everyone and thanks for all the great advice ?
