Right, all normal then. Have to wait until the actual embassy has the case and everything. :) That took six business days for us, but that will all depend on when NVC sends it out.

Ok, thanks! When my fiance books the medical tomorrow, we'll just schedule it for at least two to three weeks from now just to make sure London will have everything by that point. :)

Congrats!!!

Also, the medical exam people said to bring an email or letter with our case number on it... How do we get that?! Our medical is in 3 weeks.

It says: "A Letter/Email from the embassy with your case number and the visa category confirmed"

A) You'll have the letter from London by then.

B) They aren't actually bothered if you don't bring it. Really.

Well done everyone - this bodes well for those of us who will be coming to end of the process in the coming weeks!

EDIT: I've deleted the second part of my post as it was a question about the CEAC case checker. I get the impression it changes from the immigrant visa search to the non-immigrant search following interview.

So we have our medical exam date in 3 weeks... Can we fill out the DS-160 and Readniness Form without our case being at the London Embassy yet? Or are we jumping ahead too soon?

Also, you don't need to bring the DS-160 or Readniess Form to the medical exam, right?

Ok, now this is just getting silly! London's been working hard the last 2 days!

Lmao I know. Thank goodness! Now I'm watching this thread to see when people get their email...cause it'll likely mean ours has come/is about to come, too!

Personally we waited until we knew the case was there and ready before filling them out. Others may have different suggestions for you. :)

You'll need to bring your DS-160 confirmation page (what you get after filling it out and electronically sending it) to the interview. There is no readiness form to bring to the interview, as that is completely electronic, and they don't ask for any confirmation of that. You'll need the AA # that is on the DS-160 confirmation page to fill that one out.
