I would like to get some feedback about how your interview went at the Santodomingo embassy?what paper work did you take for interview?what questions did they ask you? And what are the procedures for the VAC?

I'm just waiting on my interview date and would like to be prepare as to what to come my way...

February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!

April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

If you have your case number and your status on ceac is ready, the fill out ds-160 and then go to ustraveldocs.com and create a profil there.

Now you schedule your interview date, frst you schedule an appoinment at vca and at the consulate.

Dont wait thatvembassy will send you a letter with interview date.

Once you have your interview, you will log onto ustraveldocs and schedule you VAC appointment for 1 day to 2 weeks ahead of your interview at the embassy. At the VAC they take your fingerprints and photo. Take the VAC appointment conformation letter to the embassy.

I have one Question can I fax My husband that paper or does he have to have the copy I print out?
