I'm getting conflicting information, so I'd appreciate anyone with any insight or personal experience throwing in their comments here. I'm trying to work out whether it's better to resign from my job before the end of this tax year and see if I can progress an emigration based taxback claim or whether I'm better off just working a few weeks into the new tax year and leaving the claim. Thoughts?

I-129F: Request to correct on document or notice assigned to an officer for response 10/25/2014

I-129F: Name Change request made 10/31/2014

I-129F: Crickets as of today

Thank you, msbau. I think that this link takes me to site where US tax issues are addressed. I'm in the UK right now, so subject to UK tax laws
