This is what i got from another site: ***removed*** under fingerprinting: Once your fingerprints are taken,you can check with the FBI whether your background has been checked and your fingerprint report has been sent back to USCIS or not. FBI does not tell whether the fingerprints were rejected or whether they found anything negative about you.

Yes that's called a FOIA request. Again, all that does is tell you whether or not your case in is progress.

What is FOIA reguest? How to make it? Is it to write somewhere or to call?

I am very new to it.

They told me they will tell nothing about a case status, there is tremendous backlog etc. ie. no soup for you! FOIA stands for freedom of information act. You can write them under FOIA and they will have to give you information about your case. Unfortunately, they have the ability to determine how quickly they have to respond to your FOIA request.............................
