good afternoon everyone, my fiance just arrive in Chicago last week and we are in process getting her SSN

QUESTION:

can my fiance apply and get any type of government health insurance for the time being.????

because i cant add her in my work health insurance till November of this year. (company rules)

I just want her to have some sort of health insurance coz of the weather here in Chicago .. just want her to be safe

No. Speak to your HR Department. They can add her as a "life changing event", but will likely need marriage certificate copy & SSN.

Exactly, the insurance company needs proof of the life changing event. Marriage certainly qualifies, and once you are married you can add her to your insurance.

No, you have to purchase that yourself. I used these guys: http://www.immigrationhealth.com/

Wrong, once you are married you can add her then.

Then provide it after you get married. There's no way around that.
