Hello,

My husband just got to the US from Dominican Republic in August 2014. He's a conditional resident right now. When he becomes a permanent resident with no conditions in 2016, he wants to petition for his 10 year old daughter. Would it be faster for him as a resident to petition for her or me as a US Citizen? Also, in what amount of time would she be here in both cases?

Thanks!

Faster for you to petition her. About 1 year.

Doesn't matter if his green card is conditional or not. This takes 2-3 years.

Don't think too much. Of course you, as a US citizen

THANK YOU guys :)
