Not sure, but maybe yours being an i-130 made a difference (the OP is talking about an i-129F). There was a whole group of people (see the thread I referenced) who had issues with theirs being shipped to NVC - not all cases go rogue, obviously, or take a long time - but enough people have had this issue to sustain the life of a thread on here about it.

That could be true....

I was just refreshing my my memory on what the" CSC Processing TIme Frame " looks like per their website and it is exactly the same as

I -130 petitions. I dont know why they would be sent to NVC at a much slower rate...crazy.

My NOA2 took over 7 months at the TSC. Unless you are extremely lucky, I would reconsider the wedding date.

OP... Look at this reply..This is what to expect..I also am already Married and the wait time is the same at TSC for both the I-129 and the I-130.. Change your date to October or November....

Unless your feeling lucky and want to chance it.. There is NO real answer here because NO 2 cases are the same.. This is my second time in 6 years dealing with USCIS.

Im stuck at TSC also.. figure 6-7 months before NOA 2.. do not go by this website timeframe.. It is for entertainement purposes only..and REMEMBER there are only a small percent of people who know about this website...Everybody who files is not here.. The reality is GO BY the USCIS website timeframe for processing NOT the Visa Journey timeframe.. Because that is composed by the people here only ..there are thousands more who do not use Visa Journey.... That is the Reality of things.... Good Luck.....

Realistically, unless you are from the Philippines, an August wedding seems pretty unreasonably, unfortunately. Only Filipinos (maybe one or two other countries, but no the Netherlands) are able to get their K1 visa within the time frame you are looking at for your wedding, due to Philippines currently being expedited. Most other countries take much longer than what your wedding time frame is. You probably want to rethink wedding plans and keep those flexible with no commitments as far as dates or money until you receive the NOA2, which is when you can start solidifying wedding plans.

Thank You Marco&Bettina and av8or1 and anyone else that aswered my questions, so what does that mean if it goes to a service center

I don't understand your question. Are you referring to an I-129F being routed to a service center from the lockbox? If so, that's straightforward. All I-129F petitions go to the TEXAS lockbox in Dallas. From there they are currently routed/forwarded to either the CSC or the TSC depending on the state in which the petitioner resides. As others have mentioned, there are exceptions to this rule, but those are very much in the minority. The overwhelmingly vast majority are forwarded as described above.

Does that answer your question?

9/8/14 - I129F petition sent to the USCIS lockbox via USPS
9/11/14 - Petition received @ USCIS lockbox
9/11/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received
9/15/14 - NOA1 Official notice date
9/18/14 - NOA1 hard copy received
12/9/14 - "Updated" likely because of website repairs, like many of us received
4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

5/13/15 - Left the NVC (5 days)

5/15/15 - Electronic version arrived at the embassy (2 days)

5/20/15 - Paper copy arrived at the embassy (7 days)

6/4/15 - Status changed to AP (which meant that we could schedule the interview)

6/16/15 - Medical

6/17/15 - K1 APPROVED!!!!

6/30/15 - Passport and sealed envelope delivered via courier

Not to add insult to injury, but be aware that some K1's are taken out of the queue for AP at NVC. That can add weeks, to a couple of months before it gets sent on to your embassy. [snip]

cdneh-

Could you explain this a bit further? What is AP in this scenario? I've heard of this happening, but haven't ever gotten more information about it, so I am curious.

Thanks

Sorry if I'm just jumping on the negative bandwagon but I don't understand why anyone of us would actually set a date for the wedding when we have no idea of what will happen with our paperwork. There's so many factors to consider and I think anything organised before your visa is in hand is crazy. My fiancée and I have only just filed and I'm looking at options for weddings, keeping it small and simple but there's no way I would book anything until my visa is approved. Family and friends should understand, it's not as easy as just getting married anywhere else. And honestly I wouldn't want the extra added stress that'll come if you're unwilling to reschedule your wedding. My opinion of course.

Thanks again to everyone who answered my post. Will let everyone know how it goes. Praying for a NOA2 in early May :)

I hate to burst your bubble, but it is not happening in early May. If people that have filed 3-4 months before you may receive their NOA2s in Late March or April, you are merely fantasizing that something will happen before that time.
