As soon as you hear the busy tone, hang up and redial. And keep doing it over and over. 10, 20, 30 or more times. Eventually you get through to be put on hold. Wait, wait and wait some more. Finally a live person will answer.

Now you don't get busy tone. recording comes in and says all customer service guys are busy please call again.

I could be mistaken, but believe our fees are paying the salary's of the government folks running this place. The fact that they have forced Spanish on everyone that calls is an indication that the Administration in their recent free for all grand plan has forced the NVC to deal with illegal immigrants that have paid nothing and are plain and simple illegal!

The fact that they say they have made improvements to the phone system to better serve is purely an all out effort to further detour those who are legally pursuing immigration of their loved and who have paid the fees from making it to the front of the line.

I still ant get through. there is no option to wait USCIS approved a NOA2 for my wife and its over 45 days and we can't proceed.

I am about to write to the senator to demand there should be an review as to how the NVC operates. No outsourced company has the right to simply disconnect the phones.

Also a reasonable processing time for immigrant spouses needs to be established from application to arrival at port of entry.

first of all I am confused as to WHY THEY DONT PROVIDE STATUS UPDATES OR CASE DETAILS ON THE WEB. is some company making a profit by forcing us to call them. why cant we check the status online?

why does it take 45 days or more to ENTER THE CASE in the system. why do we have to wait to submit the forms. why cant we submit everything as soona as the I-130 is approved? why are they making the processing steps so filled with delays and multiple unnecessary steps each with its own delay

Please advise

Regarding the text in bold and orange, the NVC is operated by a private company that has a contract with the US Department of State, the workers work for the company, not the State Department itself.

Regarding the text in bold and red, the NVC is not directly involved with the measures that are being referenced. The NVC's only functions are document intake for immigrant visa cased and routing of files to the proper Embassy/Consulate abroad.

Really, So you don't think government officials are charged with how the NVC is run? And you don't think they are getting calls or will be involved with illegal Immigrants? Interesting points of view
