When should I receive interview letter? Online tracking confirms it is ready.

I tracked my husbands status online and as of December 10th, it is ready to be scehduled for an interview, I we have not received a letter yet. Is this timing normal? We applied at the end of September. I called USCIS to ask if it was in normal timing and they were no help. Should I make an Infopass appointment?

and can someone tell me how to reply to comments? I've never been able to figure it out and I don't want to be rude and not respond!

What I did to get the interview date before the letter was to send and email to the embassy

What does your online case status say? "Ready to be scheduled" or "my interview is scheduled?" There's a big difference. We went straight from "my fingerprint fee is accepted" to "my interview is scheduled." Once we received that e-mail notification, we received the letter in five days. I wouldn't expect the letter until you've received the "my interview is scheduled" alert. There is a fellow VJer filing through the OKC office. She filed in June and just recently received her interview appointment.

Okc is running much slower. We filed in June. Went into testing interview status July 21. Just recently got scheduled for a February interview. Okc is taking about 8 months for interview.
